1 Yohana 5:4-5

[4]Kwa maana kila kitu kilichozaliwa na Mungu huushinda ulimwengu; na huku ndiko kushinda kuushindako ulimwengu, hiyo imani yetu. 

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

[5]Mwenye kuushinda ulimwengu ni nani, isipokuwa ni yeye aaminiye ya kwamba Yesu ni Mwana wa Mungu? 

Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

[4]Ninyi, watoto wadogo, mwatokana na Mungu nanyi mmewashinda, kwa sababu yeye aliye ndani yenu ni mkuu kuliko yeye aliye katika dunia. 

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Waefeso 6:12

[12]Kwa maana kushindana kwetu sisi si juu ya damu na nyama; bali ni juu ya falme na mamlaka, juu ya wakuu wa giza hili, juu ya majeshi ya pepo wabaya katika ulimwengu wa roho. 

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Yohana 16:33

[33]Hayo nimewaambieni mpate kuwa na amani ndani yangu. Ulimwenguni mnayo dhiki; lakini jipeni moyo; mimi nimeushinda ulimwengu. 

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
